Information Ordering and payment... Payment can be made using all major credit cards via the PayPal secure payment server which we use to process card transactions. We also accept cash for pick-up orders only, so if you live in the Dublin city area and wish to pick up your order instead, select the "cash on pick up option" at check-out and e-mail me to arrange a suitable pick-up time. Ordering on-line couldn't be easier, just add the items you wise to purchase using the "add to basket" button . All items in your basket can be viewed on the bottom right hand corner of the webpage. Proceed to checkout when you are finished, where you will be asked for delivery details, and you will be transferred to PayPal's secure encrypted server. Once orders have been dispatched you will receive a confirmation e-mail to let you know that it is on its way. Orders received after 12pm on friday will be processed the following monday. Security... Items are dispatched and shipped from Dublin in the Rep of Ireland. Please allow 5-10 days for your piece to be individually made up and delivered to you. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the jewellery that you have ordered, you may return the item(s) to us, in unworn condition and all packaging in tact within 7 days of the invoice date. For international customers please return within 12 days of invoice please. We will be happy to offer you an exchange or credit note for the full amount charged. We only offer refunds for faulty items at this time. Please make sure that you e-mail us before you send back any item(s) so that a replacement will be ready for you. Care instructions... All metals tarnish (go green or discolour) this occurs when the underlying metal reacts with moisture and chemicals in the air to create a layer of tarnish on the metal's surface. The tendency to tarnish is directly correlated to the purity of the metal itself i.e the purer the metal, the less tarnishing will occur. the purest metal available is 24 carat gold which does not tarnish. Sterling silver and gold filled metals contain a small amount of base metals in their composition and therefore have a tendency to tarnish but at a slow rate. However, once they are polished they go back to their natural state. All other plated or dipped metals have a greater mix of base metals and therefore tarnish quickly and easily. These metals are the most economical and are thus used for most fashion jewellery. However, steps can be take to take care of whatever jewellery you have so that it stays new for longer. We therefore recommend that you follow the tips listed below so you can make the most of your jewellery.
Repairs... We all know how distressing it can be if a treasured piece of jewellery breaks and stays looking at you from the bottom of a drawer. Vixxie Jewels also offer a repair service to fix a number of minor beading repairs including broken clasps, broken strings, missing components, re-stringing, replacement links and more. Please note that some items may not be cost-effective to repair. For a repair quotation please e-mail me a picture of the broken piece of jewellery and include a short description of what needs to be done and I shall send you a quote as soon as possible. Prices may vary depending on the extensity of the repair and the cost of materials needed. let Vixxie Jewels give a little tlc to your old broken jewellery and hopefully we can get your treasured beads out of the drawer and on your neckline once again.
